So, you have a great tune and want to share it with the world, then you're in the right place. But what if you also want compensation for commercial works? No problem, glad you asked! When you upload a song, you have the option to select "streaming" or "streaming + downloading" (among others). This enables the download button, but you can still set a price!!! In this case you can set the licensing to state "free for non-commercial uses", and set the price to, let's say, $0.99. Now you can share AND get paid at the same time! :) Downloaded MP3s have a reference back to this site and the author, so if that MP3 is copied and shared, everyone will know where it came from.
